Full job description

We are a farming business focused on sustainable and natural cultivation operations. Because we are in the early stages of setting up and launching, we are looking for a reliable, motivated Greenhouse & General Farm Worker to join us on the ground floor. This position requires individuals who already possess a basic understanding of agricultural, greenhouse, or landscaping environments.Since this is a fresh venture, there is massive room to grow with us. You will be a core part of our foundational team, offering a unique opportunity to step into leadership, supervisory, or specialized management positions as the business establishes itself. While we will orient you to our specific eco-conscious farm systems, at least some prior experience in a physical, hands-on role is required.Key Responsibilities

  • Sustainable Cultivation: Plant seeds, transplant seedlings, and manage crop propagation using eco-friendly, natural practices.
  • Crop Maintenance: Execute pruning, thinning, tying, and trellising of plants with minimal supervision.
  • Eco-Conscious Field Management: Assist with natural weeding methods, soil building, composting, and basic irrigation.
  • Harvesting & Quality Control: Hand-harvest produce accurately, identifying and sorting out substandard quality.
  • Sorting & Packaging: Correctly weigh, grade, and pack harvested produce for market distribution.
  • Sanitation: Maintain strict cleanliness, sanitizing greenhouse structures, tools, and work lanes using environmentally responsible methods.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: At least 6 months to 1 year of experience in farm work, greenhouse production, nursery care, or commercial landscaping.
  • Growth Mindset: Highly adaptable, resourceful, and excited about helping build a business from the ground up.
  • Familiarity with basic agricultural tools and crop maintenance techniques.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift and carry up to [45 lbs / 20 kg] regularly.
  • Comfortable working in diverse environments, including hot/humid greenhouses and outdoor weather conditions.
  • Strong team player with a proven track record of reliability, punctuality, and efficiency.

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
