We are currently seeking an experienced, motivated, and relationship-focused Sales Manager to lead and support our Saskatchewan & Manitoba Sales Team while driving regional business growth and customer success.

What You’ll Do

Sales Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, coach, mentor, and support Sales Representatives throughout Saskatchewan & Manitoba to drive performance, accountability, and sales growth
  • Monitor team performance while providing regular coaching, feedback, guidance, and performance support
  • Conduct regular communication with Sales Representatives to review priorities, opportunities, expectations, and territory performance
  • Lead structured weekly meetings and formal performance reviews
  • Foster a positive, professional, and motivated team environment focused on collaboration, engagement, and results
  • Support Sales Representatives with operational and professional challenges to ensure smooth day-to-day business operations
  • Interview, hire, onboard, and train new Sales Representatives
  • Support ongoing product knowledge development, professional growth, and sales effectiveness across the team

Territory & Customer Management

  • Manage and support the Saskatchewan & Manitoba sales territory through regular travel and in-market support
  • Maintain a strong field presence, with approximately 80% of working time spent visiting customers, supporting Sales Representatives, identifying opportunities, and driving business growth
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with existing customers to support retention and long-term growth
  • Identify new business opportunities, account growth opportunities, and competitive market opportunities throughout the region
  • Support Sales Representatives in opening new business and expanding key customer accounts
  • Conduct customer visits, business reviews, growth planning discussions, presentations, and strategic meetings
  • Maintain strong visibility within the professional beauty industry while supporting the company’s market presence
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and business risks

Sales Strategy, Performance & Business Growth

  • Assist in developing and executing regional sales strategies aligned with company goals and objectives
  • Drive financial performance by working toward annual, quarterly, and monthly sales targets
  • Maintain ownership of KPI development, sales forecasting, budget planning, and sales target management
  • Prepare, review, and analyze sales reports by office, territory, Sales Consultant, and brand to provide accurate business updates to senior leadership
  • Monitor business trends and identify opportunities for operational and sales improvement
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations, strategic initiatives, and business proposals to support regional growth
  • Oversee and track sampling initiatives and in-market product placement to support execution and return on investment
  • Support sales promotions, education initiatives, and regional business development activities

Brand, Market & Partner Support

  • Act as the primary point of contact for brand partners within the region
  • Support alignment between brand partner expectations and company sales initiatives
  • Collaborate with brand partners on promotions, product launches, education, events, and growth planning initiatives
  • Act as a liaison between Sales Consultants, brand partners, and internal departments
  • Coordinate and support education sessions, in-salon training, trade events, and customer engagement opportunities to support brand growth.

Operational & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate communication between Head Office, Sales Representatives, and the market to ensure company updates, promotions, policy changes, and key messaging are communicated clearly and consistently
  • Book and coordinate detailing days with brand partners to support Sales Representative engagement and product education
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to support customer needs and business operations
  • Support timely resolution of customer concerns and service-related issues
  • Ensure consistent communication and alignment across sales teams and support departments
  • Participate in trade shows, industry events, sales meetings, company events, and AGM meetings, as required
  • Maintain flexibility to support business needs outside standard working hours, including evenings and weekends when required
  • Perform all other duties as required to support business operations

What You Bring

  • Previous sales leadership or management experience preferred
  • Strong leadership, coaching, mentoring, and team development skills
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to analyze sales data and make informed business decisions
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and company sales systems
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory
