Medical Office Administrator Position at Waves Family
Medicine (Penetanguishene ON)

Job Description

We are a well-established group of family physicians proudly serving the Penetanguishene, Ontario community. We are currently seeking an experienced, organized, and dependable Medical Office Administrator to join our team in a full-time role.

Required Skills

Main Responsibilities of this Job

-Screening and checking in patients for appointments, and verifying demographics

-Triaging patient phone queries and voicemails, directing questions

-Scheduling appointments and coordinating provider schedules

-Managing incoming/outgoing mail, faxes, and e-mails

-Record keeping and chart management

-Rooming patients and assisting with flow through clinic, including heights/weights, vital signs, and handling of laboratory specimens

-Handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism

-Contributing to a welcoming and safe environment for all patient populations
