Position: Licensed Millwright (433A) – Oshawa, ON

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Pay: $44.00/hr

Overtime: Available

Shift Premiums: +$1.00/hr for Afternoon and Night Shifts

Pension: Full Pension Plan

Work Environment: Excellent, team-oriented manufacturing environment with a strong safety culture

Location: Oshawa, Ontario

Shift Schedule:

Candidates must be available to work a rotating schedule that includes:

  • 4 weeks of Days
  • 1 week of Afternoons
  • 1 week of Nights
  • Approximately 1 Weekend Shift, 4 times per year

We are currently hiring a Licensed Industrial Millwright (433A) for a well-established manufacturing facility in Oshawa. Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on production and plant equipment.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues and carry out repairs efficiently to reduce downtime.
  • Install, maintain, modify, and troubleshoot machinery using technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Complete welding, machining, fabrication, and general maintenance tasks as required.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and follow all safety procedures and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Valid 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) License.
  • At least 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting, welding, machining, and fabrication abilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.

Pay: $44.00-$45.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:

  • 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) License (required)
