Position: Sales Representative – IT Equipment & E-Commerce Sales

Position Type: Full-time - Permanent

Industry: IT Infrastructure

Salary Range: $60K – $100K + Commission and Health Benefits

Position Summary:

Our Client is seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Representative to drive the growth of our refurbished IT equipment business through both direct sales and online e-commerce channels. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the secondary IT market, including servers, storage, networking equipment, desktops, laptops, and IT components. This role requires a proven ability to source opportunities, manage customer relationships, and maximize sales through online marketplaces and e-commerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Sales Growth

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers while actively pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Generate sales revenue through direct outreach, account management, and lead generation activities.
  • Identify customer requirements and recommend appropriate refurbished IT solutions.
  • Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

E-Commerce & Online Marketplace Management

  • Create, maintain, and optimize product listings on e-commerce platforms and online marketplaces.
  • Monitor marketplace trends, pricing, and competitor activity to maximize sales performance.
  • Ensure accurate product descriptions, specifications, images, and inventory availability.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries generated through online sales channels.
  • Manage customer feedback and maintain high seller ratings across all platforms.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build long-term relationships with customers, resellers, system integrators, and end-users.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales cycle.
  • Follow up on quotations and sales opportunities to maximize conversion rates.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities within the CRM system.

Market Intelligence

  • Stay informed on market trends, pricing fluctuations, and demand for refurbished IT equipment.
  • Identify emerging opportunities within the IT asset disposition (ITAD), data center, and enterprise IT sectors.
  • Provide feedback to management regarding customer needs, market conditions, and competitive activity.

Qualifications:

Required Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience in refurbished IT equipment, IT hardware, or technology solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience selling through e-commerce platforms and online marketplaces.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise IT hardware including servers, storage, networking equipment, desktops, laptops, and components.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong understanding of pricing strategies and market valuation of used and refurbished IT equipment.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Results-driven with a customer-focused approach.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within the ITAD, circular economy, or technology lifecycle management industries.
  • Existing network of IT buyers, resellers, brokers, or channel partners.
  • Experience with platforms such as eBay, Amazon Business, Shopify, or other B2B/B2C marketplaces.
