Executive Assistant – Human Resources (3-Month Contract)

Kamloops, BC | Full-Time | Temporary (3 Months) | $35.00–$42.00 per hour

Excel Personnel is recruiting an experienced Executive Assistant to support a senior Human Resources executive within a large corporate organization.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Executive Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting executive leadership. We're looking for someone who is proactive, highly organized, exercises sound judgment, and can confidently manage competing priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level executive administrative support.
  • Manage complex calendars, meetings, and scheduling.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, correspondence, and executive briefing materials.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and expense reporting.
  • Track projects, action items, and key deadlines.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the executive.
  • Assist with business planning, reporting, and departmental initiatives.
  • Anticipate executive needs and proactively resolve issues.
  • Maintain accurate records and support day-to-day executive operations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum three years of experience supporting senior executives (Director, Vice President, or C-suite).
  • Previous experience supporting Human Resources or People & Culture leadership is strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment when handling confidential information.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • 30-minute unpaid lunch
  • Business casual work environment

Compensation

  • $35.00–$42.00 per hour, depending on experience
  • Full-time temporary assignment (3 months)
