Personal Assistant to a Social Media Influencer
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and culture-savvy Personal Assistant to support a social media influencer across both personal and professional responsibilities. This role is ideal for someone with a background or strong interest in digital marketing, social media, content creation, film, or production.
**This role is for a private individual employer seeking a personal assistant/content assistant to provide support with filming, light editing, content organization, and travel. This is not a traditional company position, and there is no public company website. Qualified applicants will receive more information about the employer and role during the interview process.**
This is a salaried position with consistent weekly pay. The role requires a mix of remote and in-person support, with only two days per week required in person. The remaining work can be completed remotely, depending on the creator’s schedule, content needs, and project priorities.
Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media & Content Support
- Brainstorm creative content ideas for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Stories.
- Research trending topics, sounds, formats, challenges, and creators to keep content fresh and relevant.
- Assist with content planning, shot lists, captions, posting ideas, and basic campaign organization.
- Track Instagram and social media insights, identifying what content is performing well and suggesting ways to improve growth and engagement.
- Stay up to date on platform updates, viral trends, pop culture moments, and online conversations.
Creative & Production Assistance
- Provide light support during content shoots, including helping with setup, organization, filming, behind-the-scenes capture, and general production flow.
- Assist with basic editing tasks when needed, such as clipping videos, organizing footage, light photo editing, or creating simple graphics.
- Help organize content assets, brand materials, references, inspiration boards, and creative notes.
Administrative & Personal Support
- Manage scheduling, calendar coordination, inbox organization, and travel planning.
- Assist with errands, appointments, bookings, reservations, and general day-to-day coordination.
- Support both online and in-person tasks with professionalism, discretion, and strong attention to detail.
- Help keep projects, deadlines, and daily priorities organized.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is someone who is not only organized and reliable, but also genuinely understands the internet. They should be active on social media, aware of current trends, and able to identify what feels fresh, relevant, and engaging online.
A background in marketing, film, media, content creation, social media management, or production is strongly preferred. Experience with tools such as Instagram Insights, TikTok, Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Lightroom, or similar platforms is a plus.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, especially Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and current online culture.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, and take initiative.
- Comfortable assisting with both personal and professional tasks.
- Flexible, discreet, and adaptable in a fast-moving creative environment.
- Basic content creation, editing, photography, videography, or graphic design skills are a strong plus.
- Must be available for a combination of remote and in-person work.
Opportunity

All work-related travel will be compensated. Travel opportunities may include access to luxury accommodations, private chefs, exclusive events, and premium amenities, depending on the project or trip.
