Advisor, Retail & Activations, or as we like to say, Brand Experience Builder!
We’re looking for an Advisor, Retail & Activations, for a 12-month contract, to join our diverse & vibrant team and become part of the ATCO family.
The Advisor, Retail & Activations is responsible for supporting the execution of sponsorships, community partnerships, and brand activations that drive customer engagement and acquisition. This role combines marketing, communications, sales activation support, and event management to deliver consistent, high-quality brand experiences.
Reporting to Senior Advisor, Communications & Sponsorships the role works closely with internal stakeholders, including marketing, communications, customer experience, and sales (CCC), to ensure activations are well-coordinated, effectively executed, and aligned with business objectives

Sponsorships & Activations
- Support the planning and execution of sponsorships and community partnerships aligned with brand and business objectives
- Execute in-market activations, ensuring consistent and high-quality brand representation
- Coordinate event logistics, including vendors, permits, materials, and onsite execution
- Support post-activation evaluations and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Sales Activation Support
- Partner with CCC and sales teams to support the planning and delivery of sales activations
- Ensure teams are prepared with required materials, messaging, and tools to effectively engage customers
- Coordinate distribution and setup of materials and provide onsite support as required
Event Management
- Plan, coordinate, and execute events ranging from small-scale activations to larger sponsorship initiatives
- Manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful event delivery
- Act as the primary point of contact for event logistics and onsite operations
Swag & Inventory Management
- Manage branded merchandise inventory, including sourcing, ordering, tracking, and distribution
- Ensure adequate inventory is available to support activations, events, and internal needs
- Maintain vendor relationships and manage production timelines
Marketing & Communications Support
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate sponsorships and activations into broader marketing and communications plans
- Support development of promotional materials and ensure alignment with brand standards
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support integrated activation delivery
Reporting & Performance Measurement
- Track and report on key performance metrics, including lead generation, customer acquisition, and return on investment (ROI)
- Analyze activation performance to identify insights and recommendations
- Use performance data to inform future sponsorship and activation strategies
Who you are:
- A highly organized professional who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A strong communicator and interpersonal relationship builder
- Collaborative across teams and with external partners
- Detail-oriented and able to execute with consistency
What you have:
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related discipline
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in marketing, public relations, sponsorships, or event management
- Demonstrated event management experience is required
- Experience supporting sales or customer-facing teams is considered an asset
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to execute with consistency
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external partners
- Requirement to work evenings and weekends approximately 2-4 times per month to support events and activations
- Occasional travel may be required
