Full job description

We're looking for a part time team member to join our Client Service team with shifts available Friday afternoon/evenings and Saturdays with potential for more hours with time.

Our Client Specialists help us provide a fantastic pet care experience by supporting the needs of our clients as they arrive, depart or make reservations for future visits! Do you love talking about pets and enjoy the client service experience? Maybe this is the job for you!

In this forward facing position, employees welcome our clients and their pets when they arrive and send them home with a smile on their face! In this role you'll greet our clients in a warm and friendly manner, check our guests in and out of our facility management software, process payments, enforce policies, answer phones and emails, schedule reservations, and promote our unique services and events.

This position requires a self-motivated, confident individual who can proactively navigate work flow during peaks and lulls. The ability to actively listen to our clients and effectively communicate their needs to our pet care staff is essential. This position requires a detail-oriented individual that can multi-task; clients tend to check in and out in waves, so attention to detail and being able to handle volume with accuracy, organization and efficiency is a must.

We're looking for:

  • 2-5 years of successful sales, pet care (reception or administration), service or hospitality experience with one employer preferred.
  • Reliable, professional individual committed to great attendance.
  • Articulate and pleasant conversational, in-person demeanor.
  • Proper grammar and an ability to demonstrate professional etiquette in written communication required.
  • Exemplary professional references from previous management are non-negotiable.
  • High school diploma required, post-secondary enrollment or certificates/training an asset.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlooks, Word, Excel, Google Documents, and be willing to navigate new technology that improves our business.

Hiring: We're excited to start training as soon as the right candidate is available to join our team! Training will take place in person and remote/digital with online training components.

Interested candidates should submit a resume with a cover letter outlining why you're interested in this role specifically and why we're going to love working with you!
