Full job description

We offer a fun and relaxed working environment, where we host sushi making classes, karaoke, catering and special events in our venue at Logan and Lakeshore.

This is a Full-time Salaried position with work from home benefits 1 day per week. Typical Hours are M-F , 9-5 with very occasional Saturday shifts.

The applicant must have experience in be highly organized, have great communication skills, experience dealing with clientele, a self-starter, and hard working.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in the Events Industry or Completion of Events Management Post Secondary Education (please do not apply without related experience or schooling)
  • Experience in Catering Coordination ideal
  • Experience creating BEOS an asset
  • Strong Administration Skills
  • Exceptional Organization Skills
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Expert at English language is a MUST
  • Experience using Canva
  • Experience using GSuite
  • Problem Solving
  • Self Starter
  • Attention to Detail

DUTIES, included, but not limited to:

  • Assist the Director of Operations in day-to-day tasks, including, but not limited to:
  • Booking and coordinating with all clients for classes, catering and venue bookings
  • Managing Events and Venue Calendar
  • Event Sales and negotiations (**Commissions are paid on new leads**)
  • Invoicing clients
  • Occasional onsite event assistance
  • Monthly Sales reporting
  • Updating POS systems
  • managing various inventories
  • Client correspondence
  • Booking zoom meetings
  • Planning driver routes
  • Managing in-house calendar
  • Updating online booking inventories
  • Sending client invoices
  • Preparing shipping labels
  • Preparing shipping kits
  • Option to take on occasional in house event service / bartending with tips
  • Subordinate staff training
  • And other duties as may be deemed necessary

Pay: $45,000.00-$53,000.00 per year
