Job Overview

We're not just another restaurant; we're a vibrant hub where the spirit of the Maritimes meets the energy of the city. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you'll be the face of our establishment, setting the tone for an unforgettable dining and drinking experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
  • Manage cash handling accurately, including processing payments and maintaining the cash register.
  • Assist with inventory management by tracking stock levels and notifying management of low supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
  • Be a team player, assisting when needed and coordinating duties with other FOH staff
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly.

Skills

  • Strong customer service skills to create a positive experience for guests.
  • Proficient in using POS systems for order processing and payment transactions.
  • Experience in food service or hospitality is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety standards are met.
  • Accurate cash handling and transaction management is required
  • Excellent time management abilities to handle busy shifts efficiently.
  • Basic math skills for calculating bills, tips, and change accurately.
  • A helpful attitude towards colleagues and customers alike.
