We are currently looking for an experienced Guest Services Supervisor eager to join our team of elite hospitality professionals who redefine luxury service and guest experience on a daily basis.

Previous hospitality experience in an environment of a similar caliber. The successful candidate must possess the ability to multi-task under extreme pressure. Duties include all aspects of a front desk agent, including guest check-ins and check outs, assisting with concierge inquiries, answering the switchboard, and taking reservations calls, all while striving to exceed guest expectations.

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, the Front Desk Supervisor's key responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Supervise of Front Desk operations in one of the leading boutique hotels in North America.
• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Front Desk to maximize guest & employee experiences.
• Provide leadership training and staff development.
• Drive revenues while controlling costs.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure the smooth management of operations.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism in all aspects of job performance.
• Seek feedback on guest satisfaction and resolves problems in accordance with our Hotel standards.
• Perform any other tasks that are assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-3 years of previous Front Office experience at a four or five diamond level in a similar position is essential.
• 2 year experience with Opera
• Level 1 First Aid an asset; otherwise must have the willingness and ability to obtain it.
• Good knowledge in Revenue Management and room inventory management.
• Very strong written & verbal communication skills.
• Extremely people-focused, willing to put the interests of our guests and colleagues first.
• Strong leadership skills; able to lead colleagues to achieve the departmental vision and goals.
• Highly organized, results-oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Enthusiasm and passion for hospitality
• Very hands-on approach to management and guest services
• Tourism/Hospitality Management Diploma or Post Secondary Degree preferred
• Be able to work various shifts, including afternoon, weekends and graveyard shifts
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office
