BARISTA / COUNTER SERVICE

Location: North Rustico, PEI
Dates: August – October 30 (Must be available through to October)
Wage: $18/hour + tips + team bonus + shift meal
Schedule: Full-Time & Part-Time (Daytime Hours)

About Tide & Tales

Tide & Tales Bistro & Bookshop is a seasonal, harbour-side café in North Rustico, PEI. We offer all-day breakfast, specialty coffee, fresh baked goods, and a curated bookstore experience.

Now Hiring: Baristas (Full-Time & Part-Time | August–October)

We’re looking for skilled, energetic Baristas who take pride in great coffee and thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare high-quality espresso drinks and specialty coffees
  • Manage counter service for take-out food and beverages
  • Operate POS system and handle transactions accurately
  • Maintain speed, consistency, and cleanliness of bar area
  • Support servers with beverage orders during peak service
  • Keep station stocked, organized, and service-ready

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous barista experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency
  • Friendly, outgoing personality with great customer service
  • Ability to stay calm and efficient under pressure
  • Team first mindset and strong work ethic
  • Availability through peak summer months and shoulder season
  • Availability for daytime shifts (7:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
