Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Estimator to join our printing team. The Estimator will play a crucial role in assessing project costs and preparing accurate estimates for various projects. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with vendors and internal teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in vendor management, sourcing, purchasing and supply chain processes.

Duties

  • Analyze project specifications and requirements to prepare detailed cost estimates.
  • Collaborate with vendors to purchase, gather pricing information and negotiate terms.
  • Utilize Aventis MRP systems and SAP software for tracking materials and inventory.
  • Purchasing and assessing materials needed for fabrication and ensure timely procurement.
  • Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and contracts.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor project budgets and provide updates on cost variances as necessary.
  • Support sourcing initiatives by identifying potential suppliers and evaluating their capabilities.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of vendor management processes.
  • Proficiency in Aventis MRP systems and software.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles.
