Full job description

  • Medical Esthetician

Education

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Medical Esthetician diploma or certification from a recognized institution
  • Valid certifications in laser and advanced aesthetic treatments are considered an asset

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Esthetician
  • Experience working in a medical spa, cosmetic clinic, dermatology clinic, or aesthetic practice preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced aesthetic treatments including:
  • Laser hair removal
  • IPL photofacial treatments
  • RF microneedling treatments
  • Microneedling procedures
  • Chemical peels
  • Medical-grade facials
  • Skin rejuvenation treatments
  • Body contouring and skin tightening treatments
  • Conduct thorough client consultations and skin assessments
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on client needs and goals
  • Educate clients on skincare products, treatment protocols, and post-care instructions
  • Maintain accurate treatment records and clinical documentation
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Process payments and perform cashiering duties
  • Ensure treatment rooms, devices, and equipment are maintained according to clinic standards
  • Follow all infection prevention and safety protocols

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of skin anatomy and skin conditions
  • Experience operating aesthetic devices and technologies
  • Proficiency with:
  • Facials
  • Chemical peel treatments
  • Medical-grade skincare products
  • Ability to recommend appropriate skincare regimens and treatment plans

Work Environment

  • Medical spa and cosmetic injection clinic
  • Fast-paced, client-focused environment

  • Fluent in English; Mandarin or Cantonese is an asset
  • Availability to work weekends
