Centerfire is currently seeking self-motivated, experienced individuals to join our workforce as Heavy Equipment Operators.

We take significant pride in bringing on our crew members with the expertise to operate a variety of machines and drive a range of trucks, in addition to their other practical skills.

Opportunity: Heavy Equipment Operator (Utility, Excavator & Rock Truck)

Reports to: Superintendent

Location: British Columbia - local hires from Kelowna and Vernon. No accommodations provided, travel to and from site daily.

Rotation: 5 Days on 2 Days off - 10 Hour Days

Qualifications:

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience on any of the above pieces of equipment.
  • Positive attitude and willing to take direction from supervision.
  • Must have a valid Class 5 driver’s license and provide a 5-year driver's abstract that meets insurance requirements.
  • Must be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol test.
  • Self-motivated, flexible and proactive with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • On-site experience is an asset.
  • Strong safety culture.
  • Must have basic computer skills to complete online orientations.
  • Must have or be willing to obtain site specific tickets.
