Restoration & Abatement Technician

What You'll Do

  • Restoration, abatement, and remediation following industry standards.
  • Contain, clean, and decontaminate sites to remove mold, asbestos, and other hazards.
  • Follow safety protocols and regulatory guidelines (IICRC, WorkSafeBC, etc.).
  • Work on specialized healthcare and commercial projects, ensuring compliance with infection control standards.
  • Use industry tools & equipment to restore affected spaces safely and effectively.
  • Lead and train team members (for those in supervisor roles).

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in restoration, abatement, remediation, or demolition.
  • IICRC certifications - WRT, AMRT
  • WSBC Abatement Certification - Level 2 and 3
  • H&S Certifications - First Aid Level 2, Fall arrest, Boom/lift
  • Ability to work with precision, follow detailed standards, and ensure safety.
  • Able to lift 30kg comfortably
  • Excellent documentation skills, written, verbal and computer.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
  • Leadership and great communication skills (for those interested in supervisor roles).
  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn, develop, and grow within the company.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
