Full job description

Holiday Inn Ottawa East is looking for a reliable and hardworking Part-Time Dishwasher to join our Food & Beverage team.

What You’ll Do

  • Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
  • Operate and maintain the commercial dishwasher and other cleaning equipment.
  • Ensure all dishes and kitchen items are cleaned and sanitized properly.
  • Keep the dishwashing area, kitchen, and surrounding work areas clean and organized.
  • Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning and food preparation duties as required.
  • Remove garbage and recycling and maintain proper disposal areas.
  • Sweep and mop kitchen floors and assist with general kitchen cleaning.
  • Properly store clean dishes, equipment, and supplies.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety procedures.
  • Assist the kitchen team with other duties as assigned.

  • Previous dishwasher, kitchen, or restaurant experience is an asset.
  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing physical duties.
  • Good attention to cleanliness and organization.
  • Able to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to help the kitchen team.
  • Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.
