Position Overview: As a Shopify Developer at TMG Industrial you will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing our Shopify stores. You will also be a key stakeholder in redesigning and revamping our website. You will collaborate closely with our design, marketing, and product teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and improvements. Your expertise will help us deliver top-notch e-commerce solutions that drive business growth and enhance user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain custom Shopify themes and apps.
  • Plan, redesign and revamp existing website to optimize user experience
  • Optimize website performance and ensure mobile responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate visual designs and user experience requirements into functional and scalable solutions.
  • Integrate third-party applications and APIs to enhance store functionality.
  • Implement SEO best practices to improve site visibility and search rankings.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, best practices, and Shopify updates.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years as a Shopify Developer, with a strong portfolio of Shopify projects.
  • Proficient in Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Experience with Shopify themes, and various apps.
  • Experience with Shopify’s API and a deep understanding of the platform's capabilities.
  • Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.
  • Strong understanding of front-end development principles, including responsive design.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX design
  • Familiarity with Shopify Plus and its advanced features is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Work hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm | Onsite & In-Person

Salary: $60,000-$80,000
