Hourly Rate:

AE-RA-Tuteur / TA-RA-Tutor : $32.84 ou/or $51.75 (Sept. 2025 - Aug. 2026)

The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.

Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.

These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.

These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Nature of Work:

The Environmental Peacebuilding Association® (EnPAx®) and the University of Ottawa, along with IMPACT and Carleton University, worked together to organize the Fourth International Conference on Environmental Peacebuilding, at uOttawa, June 16-19, 2026. The RA will create a blog or similar publication about the event, with a focus on the indigenous elements of the event, Canadian indigenous perspectives on environmental peacebuilding, and similar themes. It is crucial that the candidate participated in the Conference, and a major advantage if the student identifies as indigenous.

Qualifications:

Background in environmental issues and/or conflict analysis, dispute resolution, related skills
