This is a hands-on leadership role. You won't be managing a large marketing department (There is 1 other person). Instead, you'll work directly with the CEO to develop strategy, execute campaigns, manage external resources, and drive measurable business growth.

The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a strong executor. Someone who can identify opportunities, build plans, and get things done without requiring constant direction.

  • Establish KPIs, reporting frameworks, and growth targets
  • Analyze campaign performance and continuously optimize results
  • Identify and test new customer acquisition channels

Content, Brand & Audience Growth

  • Develop ShopView's content strategy across YouTube, newsletters, blog content, social media, and customer education
  • Build editorial calendars and content distribution systems
  • Oversee development of case studies, customer success stories, one-pagers, product collateral, videos, and sales enablement materials
  • Manage social media channels with the content that is produced
  • Help scale the Social Media Channels following

Strengthen ShopView's brand positioning and market presence

AI Search, SEO & Online Reputation

  • Improve ShopView's visibility across AI search platforms and emerging search channels
  • Monitor online brand perception and competitive positioning

Build strategies that increase discoverability, authority, and trust across digital channels

Public Relations & Industry Positioning

  • Build and manage strategic PR initiatives
  • Coordinate media opportunities, interviews, press releases, and industry publications
  • Pursue industry awards, rankings, speaking opportunities, and recognition programs

Help establish ShopView and its founder as trusted voices within the industry

Demand Generation & Advertising (Be involved, understand whats going on. We have other people to help here)

  • Plan, launch, and optimize multi-channel demand generation campaigns
  • Manage paid advertising across Google, Meta, YouTube, and emerging platforms
  • Build and improve landing pages, lead magnets, conversion funnels, and nurture campaigns
  • Monitor and improve key metrics including CAC, CPL, MQLs, SQLs, pipeline contribution, and ROI
  • Manage marketing budgets and channel allocation

Partnerships & Events

  • Build relationships with strategic partners and industry organizations
  • Develop co-marketing initiatives and partnership opportunities
  • Plan and execute trade show, conference, and event marketing strategies (Someone else else helps execute the shows)
  • Maximize lead generation and brand exposure from industry events

Marketing Operations & Automation

  • Lead CRM and marketing automation initiatives
  • Manage prospect segmentation, lead scoring, and nurture workflows
  • Work closely with sales leadership to ensure alignment between marketing and revenue objectives
  • Build reporting systems that provide visibility into marketing performance and pipeline impact
