Full job description

Voyago is currently hiring a Full-Time IT Support Specialist for an existing vacancy in London, Ontario.

Your Role:

Reporting directly to the IT Manager, this role supports the day-to-day IT operations through the IT Helpdesk.

Please note: this role is not remote and does require you to be onsite in our London Ontario office.

Primary Duties:

  • Monitor Help Desk for tickets assigned to the queue and process first-in first-out based on Priority
  • Serve as the first point of contact for internal customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email
  • Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
  • Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers
  • Walk the customer through the problem-solving process
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
  • Provide accurate information on IT products or services
  • Record events and problems and their resolution in logs
  • Follow-up and update internal customer status and information
  • Pass on any feedback or suggestions by internal customers to the appropriate internal team
  • Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

The salary range for this role is $45,000 to $55,000 based on experience and certifications.


Requirements


Your profile

  • You posses a College diploma or equivalent in IT related field
  • You have at least one year of experience in a similar role
  • You have advanced experience with Windows OS environment, Microsoft 365 and its suite of applications (Teams, SharePoint and etc.)
  • You have working knowledge of Ticket management platforms
  • You have experience working with Smartphone and Tablet OS (eg. Android & iOS)
  • You bring strong technical knowledge, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • You work well in a team setting
  • You posses a full G license with a clean drivers abstract
  • You can provide a clean criminal record search
  • You have effective communication skills
  • You are highly organized and able to multitask
  • You have exceptional customer service skills
  • You are able to work onsite in our London Ontario location
  • Monday to Friday; 8 hours/day; After hours on-call rotation.
