Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Account Executive / Account Manager to join our growing logistics and parcel delivery team. The Jr AE/AM will support day-to-day customer management, drive net new business opportunities and ensure smooth service execution. This role bridges clients, operations and internal teams to ensure consistent service performance, customer satisfaction, and account growth.

What You’ll Do

1. Account Management & Client Relations

  • Serve as a primary support contact for assigned accounts, assisting with daily client inquiries and requests.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction, retention, and growth.
  • Monitor account performance and delivery metrics, flagging potential issues and coordinating timely resolutions.
  • Participate in client review meetings and prepare performance reports.
  • Support in developing account plans and identifying areas for service improvement or expansion.

2. Operational Coordination

  • Liaise with operations, dispatch, and customer service teams to ensure service commitments and SLAs are met.
  • Track delivery performance, exceptions, and escalations, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Support onboarding of new accounts, including SOP alignment, documentation, and communication.
  • Collaborate with operations to ensure accurate billing and service-level tracking.

3. Net New Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territory or verticals.
  • Research potential clients and support proposal creation and RFP submissions.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Director to develop strategies for market expansion.
  • Assist in maintaining a robust sales pipeline and CRM updates for all leads and prospects.
  • Support marketing initiatives, campaigns, and events to generate new client interest.

4. Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare and update client dashboards, service summaries, and performance analytics.
  • Monitor volume trends, service utilization, and billing alignment with contract terms.
  • Provide data insights to senior management to support business decision-making. 3 years of account management, client services, or customer success experience - ideally in logistics, 3PL, or e-commerce
  • Demonstrated track record of retaining and growing a client portfolio through proactive relationship management
  • Strong commercial instincts: able to identify upsell opportunities and have revenue conversations confidently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, professional, clear, and direct in all client-facing interactions
  • Highly organized with strong follow-through, nothing falls through the cracks
  • Comfortable working with data, able to pull, interpret, and present client performance metrics
  • Positive, accountable, and solutions-focused attitude.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field (preferred).
  • 1–2 years of experience in account management, sales, or logistics operations (preferred, but open to new graduates).
  • Understanding of logistics, parcel delivery, or transportation operations is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
