The Role

We're hiring an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist for our evening shift (10-hour shifts). You'll be setting up and running CNC lathes with minimal supervision — this is a hands-on role for someone who knows their way around a machine. Experience with a Nakamura Tome is a plus. Mill experience is a bonus and could bump your rate.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Set up and operate CNC lathes independently
  • Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
  • Select tooling, fixtures, and inserts; perform tool wear offsets
  • Verify part dimensions using precision measuring instruments
  • Maintain proper feeds and speeds for material and tooling
  • Load/unload raw materials and finished parts (including hoisting equipment)
  • Perform daily cleaning and light machine maintenance

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of CNC machining experience (lathe-focused)
  • Ability to set up with minimal supervision — this is not a button-pusher role
  • Blueprint reading skills
  • Must supply own basic hand tools
  • Manual machining background is an asset
  • CNC Mill experience is an asset
  • English proficiency required
  • Must be able to work evening shift, in-person at our Oakville facility
