Safety First is an industrial safety and medical company serving the oil and gas, construction, and industrial sectors across Western Canada. With locations in Hardisty, Sherwood Park, Drayton Valley, and Grande Prairie, we provide a wide range of industrial safety and emergency response services, including breathing air trailers and technicians, onsite medical services, fire safety services, high angle rescue, gate access control, and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical care in accordance with scope of practice / SFIC
  • Maintain cleanliness of MTC Truck at ALL times
  • Adhere to SFIC Safe Work Practices and Hazard ID Procedures
  • Coordinate STARS site if needed
  • Generate daily ERP from site to nearest medical aid
  • Fill out daily paperwork (Safety meeting with head count, daily operation reports, AED checklist, hazard identification, accident/incident if applicable)
  • Sign in/out personnel on location
  • Patient Care

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • H2S Alive
  • CSO
  • Driver’s License with clean abstract
  • ACP Registered
  • Ability to understand and communicate clearly in English (oral and written)
  • Be able to effectively handle and respond to stressful/emergency situations
  • Possess a minimum of 1 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas Industry
  • Be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well organized
  • Ability to travel areas of Alberta and other provinces and territories for extended periods of time on an ongoing basis
