About the role

This role is for someone who can lead complex recruitment assignments from start to finish while also helping grow client relationships and strengthen our recruitment practice.

What you will do
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for senior and executive searches, including briefing, sourcing, assessment, shortlisting, offer negotiation, and placement.
  • Partner with clients and senior leaders to define success profiles and hiring strategies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on role design, compensation, and hiring timing.
  • Build and manage talent pipelines using direct search, outreach, social media, and other sourcing methods.
  • Strengthen candidate and client experience through clear communication and high service standards.
  • Support growth of the recruitment book of business through relationship building, events, and business development activity.
  • Use recruitment data and feedback to improve process, quality, and results.
  • Ensure hiring practices are ethical, inclusive, and compliant with relevant employment standards.

What you bring
  • At least 5 years of recruitment experience, including senior or executive-level searches.
  • Strong client relationship management skills.
  • Proven direct search, sourcing, and outreach capability.
  • Confidence assessing more than resume fit, including behavioural, cultural, and leadership alignment.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in evolving or low-structure environments, including building recruitment processes and frameworks from the ground up.
  • Strategic thinking, sound judgment, and commercial awareness.
  • Experience with psychometric tools is an asset.
  • Experience in contingent, retained, or blended search models is an asset.

What success looks like
  • High-quality shortlists and placements.
  • Strong feedback from clients and candidates.
  • Growth in recruitment business and repeat work.
  • Strong, usable talent pipelines and improved recruitment processes.

About us
We value partnership, realism, excellence, accountability, continuous improvement, and holistic thinking. We work closely with clients, focus on practical solutions, and aim to deliver recruitment that is both effective and human-centered.

You’ll be joining a small, tight-knit team that works remotely with a high degree of autonomy. You’ll have real flexibility in how you structure your work, as long as you deliver strong outcomes. We invest heavily in learning and development, including a professional development allowance so you can pursue courses, certifications, and conferences that matter to you.

If you like a low-ego, supportive environment where you can work with lots of clients, solve problems that add real value, keep growing your craft and still have control over your time, you’ll feel at home here.

What we offer
Our total compensation package includes a competitive salary with RRSP matching, along with a base-and-contingent pay structure that rewards successful delivery in this role.

We also offer a comprehensive group benefits plan, paid leave, and flexible work arrangements to support work–life balance. In addition, employees have access to a professional development allowance to support ongoing learning and career growth.
