Hiring:
Licensed Life Insurance Advisor (LLQP) - Remote
Specialty Life Insurance, in Partnership with Empire Life & Humania Assurance
Stop Chasing Prospects. Start Building a Career. Protect Canadian Families.
If you've spent time in life insurance sales, you know the grind: hours prospecting, cold calling, and chasing people who aren't ready to talk. It's exhausting - and it's not why you got into this industry.
At Specialty Life Insurance, we've built a different model. One where you spend your time doing what you're actually great at: having meaningful conversations with people who already want to protect their families.
We provide our advisors with a steady stream of warm, pre-qualified leads every single day. No cold calling. No prospecting. Just real conversations with real clients who are ready to hear from you.
What Makes This Role Different
Warm leads, every day. We connect you with pre-qualified clients who are actively looking for life insurance. Your job is to help them - not hunt for them. This is the part that changes everything for most advisors.
A compensation package built to reward you - fast. We don't just offer a salary. We offer multiple income streams that start working for you from day one:
- Monthly performance bonuses - paid every month, on top of your base salary, tied to results you control
- Residual income that compounds as your client base grows over time
- Performance incentives and contests with additional prizes and rewards above and beyond your regular compensation
- A base salary with a fast growth track - starting at $40,000 base salary, with a structured path to $50,000 within your first 3 months based on performance, and ongoing quarterly increases up to $60,000
- Six-figure earning potential for top performers - not a tagline, a reality for our best advisors
Your base salary is the floor. The bonuses, residuals, and incentives on top of it are where your income really takes off.
Full remote flexibility. Work from home, every day, without sacrificing the structure and energy of a real team behind you.
Real training and coaching, from day one. You'll have access to ongoing mentorship, professional development, and leadership coaching at every stage of your career. We invest in making you better.
A team that has your back. Remote doesn't mean isolated. You'll be part of a collaborative, high-energy team that celebrates wins together, supports each other through challenges, and actually shows up for one another.
A career path, not just a job. We develop our advisors into leaders - with real, structured progression opportunities. If leadership is where you want to go, we'll help you get there.
Comprehensive benefits, fully covered. Health, dental, and an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), all paid by the company from day one.
Generous vacation and personal time. We know balance is important in your life and we respect that by having a generous allotment of time towards this.
Multi-provincial licensing support. We'll help arrange licensing across Canada so geography never limits what you can build.
What You'll Be Doing
- Having consultative conversations with warm, pre-qualified clients about their life insurance needs
- Building genuine, lasting client relationships that go well beyond the first policy placement.
- Managing inbound and outbound call opportunities in a structured, supported environment
- Partnering with internal teams to ensure every client gets an exceptional experience
- Continuously developing your skills through coaching, training, and team collaboration
What We're Looking For
- LLQP licensed with valid provincial licensing in good standing
- 2+ years of life insurance sales experience preferred
- A natural communicator who builds trust quickly
- Self-motivated and comfortable owning your performance in a remote environment
- Genuinely passionate about helping clients - not just closing deals
- Eager to grow, learn, and take on more responsibility over time
- Resilient, accountable, and a real team player
Technical Requirements
To deliver the best possible experience for your clients, you'll need:
- 12+GB RAM & Windows 11 or macOS 15+
- Strong internet (minimum 20mb download / 10mb upload)
- Dual monitor setup & USB wired headset
- Smartphone running a current OS
