Job Title: Camp Manager – Rotational (Remote Camps Across Canada)

What are we looking for:

  • You’re practical, hands-on, and enjoy solving problems on the fly.
  • You’re tough, physically fit, and comfortable in outdoor conditions and changing weather.
  • You’re a self-starter who thrives in a team, but you’re happy taking initiative and making good calls when it counts.
  • You value safety, detail, and reliable operations, and you’re ready to roll your sleeves up.

What you’ll do

  • Run the show at remote camps: keep daily operations smooth, facilities in good shape, and the vibe safe and welcoming for crews.
  • Keep camp services humming: sanitation, waste streams, incineration, potable water support, power, and core utilities.
  • Tidy, fix, and maintain camp infrastructure so everyone can focus on the job.
  • Coordinate with project leads on logistics, relocations, and schedule changes.
  • Troubleshoot on-site issues with practical, no-nonsense solutions.
  • Model safety, log basic incidents, and support emergency response as needed.
  • Manage supplies and vendor relationships to keep things flowing.
  • Pitch in with first aid as trained; help run safety drills and preparedness activities.

What you’ll bring

  • 3–5 years hands-on in camp ops, facilities maintenance, or remote-site management.
  • Real-world handyman chops and a “let’s get it done” attitude.
  • Comfort with incinerators, PACTO toilets, generators, water/sewage systems, and core camp utilities.
  • Ability to work independently in remote locations and collaborate well with a crew.
  • Strong organization, prioritization, and attention to detail.
  • Physical readiness for outdoor work in variable weather.
  • First Aid/CPR, WHMIS, and a valid PAL (Firearms License) or willingness to obtain.
  • Willingness to relocate/rotate to multiple remote sites as project needs dictate.
  • Able to pass background checks and pre-employment screening as required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with incident reporting, safety documentation, and asset management tools.
  • Basic carpentry, plumbing, or electrical repair skills.
  • English fluency; French is a bonus for some sites.

What we offer

  • Competitive rotation-based day rate pay and travel/per diem options.
  • Thorough safety training and on-site orientation.
  • A broad, hands-on role across camp operations, logistics, and aviation support.
  • A supportive team culture built on safety and continuous improvement.
  • Accommodation and meals during rotations

This role is perfect for a proactive leader passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences in a remote environment.

Pay: $400.00-$475.00 per day

Work Location: In person
