Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Emergency specialized Registered Nurses to join our healthcare team. These roles involve providing high-quality nursing care to patients in under-serviced communities.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering high-quality, compassionate, and timely nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
  • Triage, assess, prioritize, and stabilize patients based on the severity of their condition.
  • Administering medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.
  • Assisting with diagnostic procedures and coordinating care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Documenting patient information accurately and maintaining clear, timely medical records.
  • Responding effectively to medical emergencies and life-threatening situations.
  • Educating patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.
  • Maintaining compliance with professional standards, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Minimum 1 year experience working in specialty
  • Current certifications as to specialty BLS, ACLS, CTAS
  • PALS, TNCC, NRP - is considered an asset
  • Completion of specialty from a designated program with certification is preferred
  • Satisfactory criminal record/vulnerable sector check within past year
  • Record of immunizations and TB skin test within past year
