Full job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly capable and self-sufficient individual to serve as both Camp Chef and certified OFA3 Medic. This dual-role position is critical to maintaining the health, safety, and morale of camp personnel. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing nutritious meals while also providing advanced first aid and emergency medical response in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

Camp Chef Duties

Plan, prepare, and serve daily meals for camp personnel (including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks)

  • Accommodate dietary restrictions, allergies, and nutritional needs
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen in compliance with food safety standards
  • Manage food inventory, ordering, storage, and rotation
  • Monitor food costs and minimize waste
  • Ensure kitchen equipment is properly maintained and operated safely

OFA3 Medic Duties

  • Provide Occupational First Aid Level 3 (OFA3) services in accordance with provincial regulations
  • Respond to workplace injuries and medical emergencies
  • Conduct patient assessments, administer treatment, and coordinate evacuations if required
  • Maintain accurate medical records, incident reports, and treatment logs
  • Manage and restock first aid supplies and medical equipment
  • Participate in safety meetings and contribute to site safety planning

Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 3-4 months

Pay: $425.00-$500.00 per day
