POSITION SUMMARY

The Clinical Coordinator (Day Treatment) is responsible for supporting all aspects of day-to-day operations in the Day Treatment programs in consultation with the Intensive Clinical Manager(s). Scheduling for LITS, Day Treatment, and Clinical Support Workers in collaboration with the appropriate Clinical Managers will also be a shared duty. This position will be scheduled for on-call duties on a rotating basis.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Undergraduate degree in social work, sociology, psychology or child and youth studies, or related field required;
  • Working towards completion of Masters program in related field an asset;
  • Registered with appropriate regulatory body; A minimum of three (3) years supervisory experience preferred;
  • Experience working in a Live-in treatment program an asset;
  • Knowledge and understanding of child development and child management techniques and working with children with complex needs;
  • Experience working within a unionized environment an asset;
  • Experience with using evidence-based practices and developing individual program planning an asset;
  • Demonstrated organization, time management and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to manage conflict and facilitate cooperation between team members and work teams;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Must be authorized to drive in Ontario in order to operate agency vehicles and is in possession of a valid Full G License
  • Proof of Emergency First Aid CPR C +AED course, Food Handler Certification, and Safe Management training must be completed as a condition of employment;
  • Individuals holding a position with Pathstone Mental Health who are required by Ontario Regulation 155/18 to provide a Police Record Check, including a satisfactory Broad Sector Check every three years and Offence Declaration yearly;
