Fairsafe is urgently looking for first aid attendants that currently reside north, interior or coastal BC.

Job Overview

FAIRSAFE is urgently looking for first aid attendants that currently reside north or interior BC.

FAIRSAFE First Aid & Safety Solutions Inc. is seeking dependable and professional First Aid Attendants, CSOs, for contract-based, temporary, and on-call safety coverage across the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley.

This role is ideal for someone with OFA Level 2 or OFA Level 3, CSO certification, and EMR who is confident working independently on construction, industrial, municipal, and outdoor worksites.

We are looking for someone who can represent FAIRSAFE professionally, communicate clearly with site supervision, and complete proper first aid and incident documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Provide on-site first aid coverage in accordance with site and WorkSafeBC requirements

Act as a confined space watcher / attendant when required

Support CSO-related safety duties on site

Monitor workers entering or working near confined spaces

Assist with emergency response procedures as directed by site supervision

Assess, treat, and monitor injured or ill workers

Complete accurate first aid records, incident reports, and safety documentation

Communicate professionally with supervisors, safety coordinators, workers, and emergency services when required

Maintain first aid equipment, supplies, and treatment areas

Act professionally and support a positive site safety culture

Required Qualifications

Valid OFA Level 2 / Intermediate First Aid minimum

OFA Level 3 / Advanced First Aid preferred

Valid CSO certificate

Valid EMR CERTIFICATION

Previous construction, industrial, municipal, or outdoor worksite experience

Experience doing temporary or contract-based first aid shifts

Ability to work independently without direct supervision

Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills

Physically capable of responding to emergencies on active worksites

Legally entitled to work in Canada

Reliable transportation is required

Preferred Experience & Assets

Previous experience as a confined space watcher, hole watch, or safety watch

Previous experience as an OFA2 or OFA3 attendant on construction or industrial sites

EMR, PCP student, or emergency response background is an asset

Volunteer experience in medical, event first aid, outreach, or emergency response settings

Familiarity with WorkSafeBC requirements and site reporting

Valid BC driver’s licence and reliable transportation

Additional Requirements

Reliable and punctual

Able to work professionally around supervisors, trades, and safety teams

Comfortable working outdoors and around active worksite environments

Available for short-notice shifts when needed

Able to provide copies of tickets and certificates before starting

Calm and professional under pressure
