Full job description

Industrial Medics (PCP)

Airsafe Consulting Ltd. is looking for suitable and qualified individuals that would like to join our team as an Industrial Medic (Dual Certified AB & BC PCP) for long term projects.

Responsibilities

  • Keep clear communication with dispatch while on the job as to any changes and while being dispatched to work.
  • Communicate with client representative on day-to-day operation.
  • Maintain vehicles and work areas in clean, tidy, and professional condition.
  • Ensure that all pertinent paperwork is completed accurately, neatly and in a timely manner.
  • Complete Hazard ID cards as appropriate.
  • Provide medical support to all personnel on the work site when required.
  • Conduct equipment maintenance procedures at the field level.
  • Attend and participate in safety meetings.
  • Participate in the HSE program.
  • Report all deficiencies found to dispatch and/or management.
  • Conduct man down drills.
  • Maintain an accurate head count of all personnel on site.

Qualifications

  • H2S Alive
  • WHMIS
  • TDG
  • Health Care Providers First Aid and CPR
  • Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
  • Class 5 License
  • Drivers Abstract (3 year)
  • In good standing with Alberta College of Paramedics (ACoP)
  • In good standing with Emergency Medical Assistants Licensing Board (EMALB)

Previous experience will be considered an asset but is not a requirement.
