Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department & Medical-Surgical Opportunities in Nova Scotia

Position Overview

As a Travel Registered Nurse (RN), you will deliver high-quality patient care across Emergency Department and Medical-Surgical units. You will adapt quickly to new environments, collaborate with local healthcare teams, and uphold strong clinical standards while supporting critical staffing needs.

  • Emergency Department RNs
  • Medical-Surgical RNs

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive patient assessments and triage as required
  • Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
  • Manage acute and chronic patient conditions efficiently and professionally
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Adapt quickly to new clinical settings, protocols, and workflows

Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing (NSCN)
  • Minimum 2–3 years recent experience in:
  • Emergency Department OR
  • Medical-Surgical / Acute Care
  • Current BLS certification (ACLS/TNCC preferred for Emergency roles)
  • Experience working in fast-paced hospital environments
  • Willingness to travel within Nova Scotia
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
