Job Summary

Join our healthcare team as a Medical Attendant, a vital role dedicated to providing compassionate patient care and supporting medical staff in delivering excellent health services. In this position, you will assist with patient comfort, monitor patient conditions, and ensure a safe and clean environment within the medical facility. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a positive experience for patients and contribute to the smooth operation of daily healthcare activities. Responsibilities

  • Assist medical staff with patient care activities, including helping patients move, dress, or prepare for examinations
  • Monitor patients’ conditions by observing vital signs and reporting any changes to healthcare professionals promptly
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within patient areas, including disinfecting surfaces and managing waste disposal
  • Support administrative tasks such as organizing supplies, preparing examination rooms, and documenting patient information accurately
  • Ensure patient safety by following infection control protocols and assisting during emergency situations when needed
  • Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients to foster a comfortable environment
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to facilitate efficient patient flow and service delivery

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment is highly preferred
  • Strong commitment to patient care with a compassionate and attentive demeanor
  • Ability to stand, walk, and assist patients for extended periods throughout the shift
  • Good communication skills to interact effectively with patients, visitors, and medical staff
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety protocols within a medical setting
  • Willingness to learn new procedures and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Certification or training related to healthcare support is an advantage but not mandatory
