Job Type: Full-Time

Shift: Negotiable

Ruel Concrete Ltd. is a fast-paced and reliable aggregate supply and trucking company, committed to delivering top-notch service to our clients with two locations. We’re currently seeking a highly organized and dependable Dispatcher to join our team and help keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule drivers, vehicles, or service calls efficiently
  • Monitor routes and ensure timely service delivery
  • Communicate with drivers and customers via phone, email and two-way radio
  • Maintain detailed records of dispatch activities
  • Handle emergency calls and re-route vehicles as needed
  • Manage shop workflow and prioritize repair tasks
  • Assign work to mechanics and monitor job progress
  • Process and track repair requests and maintenance schedules
  • Order and manage parts inventory for timely repairs

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous experience as a dispatcher or in fleet/shop management a plus
  • Basic computer skills required to manage/reply to emails, use billing program, send quotes, etc.
  • Some understanding of aggregate an asset
  • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
  • Proficient with dispatch, truck, trailer and equipment maintenance, or fleet management software
  • Knowledge of GPS systems and local geography
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions
