The Department of Electrical and Software Engineering at the University of Calgary has an opening for a Sessional Instructor for the following course in Fall 2026 (September 1 - December 31, 2026)

ENSF 614 - Advanced System Analysis and Software Design

Course Description:

Advanced topics on principles of system analysis, system thinking, requirements engineering, essential elements of quality software design, design patterns, and system-level software analysis.

Course Schedule:

Lecture: TR 9:30 am - 10:45 am
Labs: Wednesday 3:00 pm - 3:50 pm

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will be expected to have earned at least a master's degree in electrical, Computer or Software engineering and must have a demonstrated background in the subject matter related to this course. The successful candidate must also have very good previous teaching performance or show the potential for very good to excellent teaching ability. It is strongly desired that the candidate is registered as a Professional Engineer in a Canadian Province.
