Requirements:

  • Ability to read and interpret blue prints
  • Class 5 Drivers License
  • In-depth knowledge of civil construction procedures, equipment and OH&S guidelines
  • 3+ years’ experience in underground electrical utility installation
  • Positive attitude and works well with others
  • Professional demeanour when dealing with the public
  • Able to work outside in all-weather at all times of the year
  • Physically fit and able to lift 50 pounds or more

Assets:

  • Recent working experience in similar role
  • EV Charging Station experience
  • Journeyman and FSR Designation
  • 5 years+ experience
  • Small excavator operation experience
  • Class 1&3 drivers license
  • First Aid & Ground Disturbance training

This position is compensated at an hourly rate plus LOA for our of town employees. Compensation will be determined by the successful applicant’s level of training and experience. Submissions will be reviewed and only short listed applicants will be contacted for interviews.

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 75.0 per week

  • First Aid Certification (required)
  • Ground Disturbance Training (required)
