Agriculture Equipment Technician/Heavy Duty Mechanic

Norheim Equipment Co is a growing agriculture equipment dealership group (3 locations). We represent Vermeer, Deutz-Fahr (Saskatoon and Moose Jaw), Supreme International, Arrowquip, EBY, JBS and other industry-known brands. Our Saskatoon, SK location is looking for an experienced Agriculture Equipment Technician or Heavy Equipment Technician to work on a range of agriculture equipment. You’ll be trusted by clients to provide great service, quality repairs and diagnostics, shop and field work.

What does the opportunity look like?

  • General repairs, diagnostics and electrical work on a range of agricultural equipment (tractors, hay and forage, feed mixers, cattle handling equipment, aluminum trailers, manure spreaders, etc.)
  • A combination of shop work and running a field truck
  • Pre-delivery inspections for new equipment
  • Pre and post season inspections and updates
  • Maintenance and repairs on company vehicles
  • Creating detailed notes in the work order

What are we looking for?

  • The ideal candidate will be someone who is Journeyperson Agriculture Equipment Technician or Heavy Equipment Technician/Heavy Duty Mechanic (we will consider candidates who are licensed in other trades that have experience working on equipment, 3rd or 4th year apprentices)
  • Experience working on agriculture equipment would be a strong asset (tractors, forage and livestock equipment)
  • Proficient with using an electronic scan tool to complete electrical diagnostics and aftertreatment systems
