Role Summary: 

The industrial electrician is responsible for the overall electrical conditions of the production equipment, its safe operation, preventative maintenance, assist to start and shutdown production lines, troubleshooting and changeovers. This is a full-time role.

Responsibilities:

• Equipment troubleshooting, repairs, changeovers and improvement projects.
• Assess and inspect asset conditions to maximize equipment lifecycle.
• Preventative maintenance.
• Assist in the creation of maintenance procedures & Training documentation.
• Complete work orders and spare parts usage using a CMMS.
• Accountable for following all food Safety procedures

Qualifications

• Industrial electrician ticket, preferably RED seal
• 5 years' experience with high-speed packaging equipment - preferably in the food industry.
• Excellent communication skills in English – written and verbal.
• Strong interpersonal and team skills

Working Conditions:

• Turning at the waist
• Occasionally climbing ladders
• Wear protective clothing, such as coats, hair nets and safety shoes.
• Exposure to machinery sounds
• Ability to push, pull, bend, and lift up to 22 kg

Work Hours:

Available to work any of the following shifts: Morning Shift (6:00 am -2:00 pm), Afternoon Shift (2:00 pm - 10:00 pm), and Evening Shift (10 pm to 6:00 am) or (5:00 pm to 1:00 am).

Hourly Wages: $43.97-$48.34, plus a $2.00 premium for hours worked
