Full job description

We are currently offering an exciting career opportunity in Ontario, Canada for an Electrical Engineer. Full-time, Part-time or contract position available.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager the Electrical Engineer is responsible for: Sign and stamp reports using professional engineers seal when required such as pre-start health & safety review reports. Review draft reports using supporting documentation provided with each report. Collect and review drawings and manufacturer specifications. Inform clients of the recommendations and action required to correct for compliance.

Ideal Candidates Will Possess:

A bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited Canadian University. 3-5 years of experience in the fields of controls, automation, industrial manufacturing or process. Professional Engineer of Ontario designation. Experience in design of electrical safety circuits and knowledge of various safety PLC programs including knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code, CSA Standards for Safety of Machinery and Workplace Electrical Safety are also required. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with excellent interpersonal abilities and willingness to work independently and in a team atmosphere. High degree of problem solving and decision making skills. Valid Canadian passport and drivers licence.
