Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Electronic Design Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. This role involves designing, developing, and testing complex electronic systems and components for a variety of applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in electrical and mechanical engineering principles, with proficiency in system design, firmware development, and CAD tools. Candidates should be comfortable working with FPGA, ARM processors, signal processing, and programmable logic controllers to create reliable and efficient electronic solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects in a collaborative environment that values technical excellence and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electronic systems, including schematics, PCB layouts, and system architecture using CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and SolidWorks.
  • Implement firmware and software solutions using C++, Python, Perl, scripting languages, and MATLAB for embedded systems and signal processing applications.
  • Utilize FPGA development tools and ANSYS simulations to optimize hardware performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers to integrate electrical components with mechanical designs utilizing Revit and Mechanical knowledge.
  • Develop system prototypes, perform debugging, troubleshooting, and validation of electronic circuits and firmware.
  • Work with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are production-ready while adhering to quality standards.
  • Document design specifications, schematics, and test procedures for review and compliance purposes.
  • Support the integration of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) into larger automation systems.
  • Conduct signal analysis and system testing to ensure optimal performance of electronic devices.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields with a strong focus on electronics design.
  • Proven experience with FPGA development, signal processing techniques, and embedded firmware programming.
  • Hands-on knowledge of CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks; experience with MATLAB is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with programming languages including C++, Python, Perl, and scripting for automation tasks.
  • Experience working with electrical schematics, system design documentation, and debugging complex electronic systems.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes related to electronics assembly is a plus.
  • Mechanical knowledge or experience working alongside mechanical engineers is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

Pay: $85,651.31-$95,280.39 per year
