Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a motivated Industrial Electrician Apprentice to join our team. This is a hands-on training position where you will work under the supervision of licensed electricians to gain practical experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial electrical systems. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, safety-focused, and interested in building a long-term career in the electrical trade.

Responsibilities

  • Support troubleshooting of electrical equipment, motors, control panels, and machinery
  • Help install wiring, conduit, switches, and electrical components in industrial environments
  • Read and interpret basic electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
  • Use electrical testing tools (multimeter, voltage tester, etc.) under supervision
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections of electrical systems
  • Document work activities and report issues or hazards to supervisors
  • Participate in on-the-job training and apprenticeship development programs
  • Follow all applicable electrical codes, standards, and company policies

Qualification

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Interest in electrical systems and industrial maintenance
  • Willingness to learn and work in a hands-on environment
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Basic understanding of tools and safety practices is an asset
  • Physically able to lift, climb, and work in industrial settings
  • Valid driver’s license (preferred, if applicable)
