Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial electrical systems, construction, and renovation projects. This role requires expertise in blueprint reading, schematics, low voltage systems, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). The electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems across various projects, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. Candidates with handyman experience and proficiency with power tools and hand tools are encouraged to apply. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects within a dynamic environment.

Duties

  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, systems, and components in industrial or commercial settings
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute electrical installations accurately
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools and techniques to minimize downtime
  • Work with low voltage systems, including security alarms, communication wiring, and control panels
  • Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently during installation and repair tasks
  • Assist in renovation projects by upgrading or replacing existing electrical infrastructure
  • Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to support automation processes
  • Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to complete projects on time

Experience

  • 3 years experience as an electrician in industrial or construction environments
  • Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics for complex electrical systems
  • Hands-on experience with low voltage wiring and control systems
  • Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation equipment
  • Proficiency with power tools, hand tools, and other relevant equipment
  • Background in renovation projects involving electrical upgrades or modifications
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings
  • Valid electrician license or certification preferred but not mandatory for all roles depending on jurisdiction
  • Generator Installation Knowledge
  • Police Clearance Needed

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
