Food Equipment Technician – FEC (Food Equipment Company)

Location: Lower Mainland, BCJob Type: Full-Time

Join One of BC’s Leading Food Equipment Companies

FEC is looking for a skilled, motivated, and customer-focused Food Equipment Technician to join our growing team. We install, service, and maintain commercial foodservice equipment for restaurants, bakeries, grocery stores, institutional kitchens, and food production facilities across British Columbia. Travel to out-of-town job sites, including installations may be required, with travel expenses and applicable allowances provided.

What You’ll Do

  • Install and commission commercial food equipment
  • Diagnose and repair gas, electric, and refrigeration equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance and service calls
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control systems
  • Communicate professionally with customers on-site
  • Complete service reports and documentation
  • Work independently and as part of a team

What We’re Looking For

  • Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with commercial kitchen equipment, Millwrighting, HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, or related trades
  • Gas ticket, refrigeration certification, or electrical experience is an asset
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to work directly with customers and represent FEC professionally
