Job description -

We are seeking passionate educators who are experienced, vibrant and knowledgeable. We are always in search of teachers to join our team of highly dedicated staff! French Teacher position is open.

French Teacher:

  • Preferable to be registered with the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT). If you are not a registered OCT, we would still like to interview you!
  • Knowledge of the Ontario Curriculum, up to date teaching practices and is able to use a balance of teaching styles and current technologies.
  • Works collaboratively with parents and administration.
  • Demonstrates a passion for teaching and use positive progressive discipline.
  • Designing, developing and delivering learning activities in accordance with the OCT
  • Evaluating the progress of students objectively through moderation and use of OCT standards.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of teaching/learning materials to course and unit outlines.
  • Maintaining quality standards in teaching/learning programs.
  • Participating in and contributing to professional and curriculum development.
  • Implementing and modeling high standards of work performance.
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with co-teachers, students, and colleagues.
  • Maintaining accurate records and providing timely and accurate reports related to educational
  • programs and services.
  • Attending and participating in staff meetings, staff forums, PD days, etc.
  • Student consultation and writing of progress reports.
  • Filling in for absent colleagues on a limited basis, as required.
