Duties

• Operate grills and cooking equipment efficiently to prepare a variety of grilled menu items with consistency and quality.
• Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure all food handling practices meet health standards.
• Assist in food preparation tasks such as marinating, seasoning, and assembling ingredients for grilling.
• Maintain cleanliness of the grill station, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment regularly.
• Serve freshly prepared grilled dishes promptly to guests with friendly and attentive service.
• Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal flavor, texture, and safety of all food items.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and uphold high standards of food presentation.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service, restaurant settings, or kitchen environments, especially with grilling or meal preparation.
• Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations within the food industry.
• Excellent serving skills with a friendly attitude towards customers and team members.
• Ability to operate commercial-grade grills and related kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
• Familiarity with cooking techniques specific to grilling meats, vegetables, and other menu items.
• Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks during busy service hours.
• Enthusiasm for learning new recipes, techniques, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Pay: From $18.25 per hour
