Full job description

MetCredit is hiring a full-time Payroll Administrator for our downtown Edmonton office. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to manage our end-to-end payroll operations, track collector commission structures, and ensure compliance with CRA and provincial labor standards. The Role

Reporting to the Senior Controller, you will own the semi-monthly payroll for over 150 staff member.

Responsibilities

  • Process: Handle calculations for new hires, adjustments, and terminations.
  • Compliance: Prepare ROEs via ROE Web and calculate source deductions.
  • Reporting: Generate monthly reports and assist with audits.
  • Support: Answer employee payroll and benefits inquiries.
  • Tech Upgrade: Help drive our active migration to UKG Ready.
  • Security: Maintain strict confidentiality for all operations.

What You Bring

  • Experience: 2+ years in a dedicated payroll role.
  • Tech Stack: 1+ years of hands-on UKG Ready experience (required).
  • Skills: Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Education: College diploma in a related field.
  • Asset: PCP certification is a major plus.
