Job description:

We are hiring in Ontario — but this is not a typical 9–5 role.

We are expanding our team with a new office launch at 3300 Bloor Street West and looking for highly driven individuals who want to build a long-term career in wealth management the right way.

Not by inheriting clients. Not by sitting behind a desk. But by building something of your own—with the support, mentorship, and platform of an established, top-performing team.

About the Company

At Diligence Wealth Management (www.diligence.ca), we believe that true wealth management is about more than numbers—it’s about people, trust, and building long-term relationships.

As a branch of Manulife Wealth Inc., we combine the strength of a national institution with the personalized approach of a boutique advisory practice. We are the largest group within Manulife Wealth by far, and one of the largest independent wealth management offices in the country. Managing over $14 billion in client assets across two offices, our growth rate is unmatched, bringing in approximately $180 million in new assets every month.

We have mastered the art of turning young graduates into top producers. Our culture is built on the reality that massive outcomes are the result of success through consistent, daily effort.

About the Role & Career Progression

This is a performance-driven environment. It is demanding. It requires outreach, resilience, and a willingness to be uncomfortable early on.

This role is structured in two distinct phases:

Phase 1: Marketing Assistant (The Building Phase) Before becoming licensed, you will be hired as a Marketing Assistant. You will earn a base of $600/week plus a bonus structure tied directly to your results. This phase is designed to provide you with baseline income while you learn the business from the ground up. You will work directly with a senior advisor, gaining hands-on exposure to prospecting, client relationships, and business development. Your primary goal during this phase is to acquire clients, grow your practice, and study to get fully licensed.

Phase 2: Investment Advisor (The Growth Phase) Once licensed and established, you will transition out of Marketing Assistant role and become an official Investment Advisor. At this stage, your income will transition to the commissions generated by your own book of business. For the right person, the career potential here is exceptionally high. We have incredible examples and role models within our firm who started exactly where you are and have scaled their practices to generate 7- and even 8-figure incomes.

Key Responsibilities (Phase 1)

· Prospect and develop new client relationships primarily through cold calling, outreach, and referrals.

  • Qualify prospects and schedule meetings with senior advisors.
  • Participate in client meetings and contribute to financial planning discussions.
  • Analyze client financial situations, including goals, risk tolerance, and time horizons.
  • Support the development of tailored financial strategies and investment recommendations.
  • Collaborate with senior advisors to deliver a full wealth management experience while actively working toward your own licensing.

What We Offer

· A structured path to building your own business within a $14B+ national platform.

  • Direct mentorship from experienced advisors who have built massive practices from the ground up.
  • Hands-on exposure to real client situations from day one.
  • Support through licensing and ongoing professional development.
  • A high-performance environment that rewards discipline, consistency, and results.
  • A long-term path toward true independence, financial growth, and professional ownership.

What We Are Looking For

· Fiercely competitive, self-driven individuals with a high tolerance for rejection.

  • Strong communicators who naturally build trust and rapport.
  • New graduates or early-career professionals ready to outwork their peers.
  • Individuals looking to build a business-oriented career, not just collect a salary.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Economics, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • If you are serious about building a highly lucrative career in wealth management and are prepared to commit to the process, apply below.

Education

· Bachelor's Degree (required)
