Job Summary

Working under the direction of the Project Manager & Mitigation Manager, the Mitigation Technician's essential functions are as follows:

1. Assist Project Manager, Construction Manager, and Mitigation Manager on all assigned projects

2. Provide daily notes to the Project Manager and Mitigation Manager

3. Manage the Emergency Services Equipment inventory in the company software

4. Ensure constant communication with the Client and all parties involved throughout the project

5. Implement and perform quality checks to ensure that IICRC guidelines are strictly complied with on all work site projects assigned.

6. Provide daily moisture mapping & humidity readings

7. Ensure Hudson Health & Safety policies are implemented and fully adhered to all work sites, including daily (end of day) cleanliness at such work sites

8. Develop & utilize a strong working knowledge of product, equipment and computer programs

9. Put in place all other H&S hazard precautions, such as ventilation

10. Carry out emergency response procedures such as pumping out water, cleaning and removing drywall

11. Clean the effected area exercising extreme caution

12. Collect all hazardous materials using outline safety procedures

13. Dispose of all hazardous materials, following all legislative directives and written company policies

14. Categorize and record contents within company software

15. Perform board ups, assist with post-construction cleaning when needed

16. Other duties as required.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

· 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Thursday and 8:00 am to 3:00 pm on Fridays

· Availability to be in on-call rotation

· On-site locations and office when necessary.

· Ability to lift up to 50lbs

· Sustained periods of standing, sitting, bending and kneeling

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate is incredibly organized, punctual, with excellent craftsmanship. Has strong communication skills and is able to work independently or as a team.

Minimum of 1 year restoration experience. Xcelerate & Encircle experience is considered an asset.

Valid Drivers License

Ability to pass a background check

Health and Safety Representative experience is considered an asset
